On behalf of the staff and board of directors of the Greater East Side Community Council, we want to thank Chuck Repke for his many of years of service to our organization and the neighborhood. His last “official” day as our Executive Director was this past Friday.
Chuck has been a mentor, a friend and advocate for this neighborhood and the entire city and his impact will be felt by the community for years to come. Under Chuck’s leadership, developments including the Cub Foods, Hazel Park Heights Condominiums were built, Ames Lake was reclaimed and Phalen Village Small Area Plan was brought to life. Not only were buildings built during his tenure but many relationships with city staff, neighbors and partnering organizations.
On a personal note, our staff Lisa & Ann Maureen thank him for working with us and inspiring us each day. We will miss you and hope you will keep in touch with us as you enter into your next phase.
Thank you Chuck for everything!
