Announcing the May Renter Forum – With Engagement on City Budget and Renter Rights

"Having a problem with your building? We want to hear about it! - GESCC Renter Forum May Flyer"

ARE YOU A RENTER IN THE GREATER EAST SIDE?

Join us Tuesday, May 31st from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at Hayden Heights Library to engage with other renters on issues facing you, and to talk to city officials on how to make the city work better for east side renters.

Renters often say they feel unheard by the city. This Renter Forum, the city is coming out to engage and listen to renters. We’ll be talking about the upcoming City Budget and other ways the city can support renters through renter protections and the Office of Economic Empowerment!

Special thanks to the City of St. Paul Mayor’s Office for agreeing to partner with us on this special Renter Forum!

As always, we’ll take time to discuss the challenges we are experiencing in our buildings and in the neighborhood and see what steps we can take to support each other! Food and snacks will be available for all attendees. As usual, renters who attend will receive who live in the GES will receive a $30 stipend. We encourage all East Side St Paul Renters to attend, but in order to receive the stipend you must live in our service area in the Northeast Neighborhoods: https://www.stpaul.gov/…/City%20Council/D2%20Map.pdf
